Situated on the Canadian Pacific Coast, in the triangle between Seattle, round destination for Canada and the American North West . Shadowed from the Pacific rains by the mountains on Vancouver Island, the climate is mild and mostly dry, even arid in the summer in the Canadian Gulf Islands. Galiano is the Island for Cycling, Canoeing, Hiking, Kayaking, Diving, Swimming, Beachcombing and Birdwatching. The island has a pretty 9-hole Golf Course and communal Tennis Courts. Or, just relax and enjoy the view for a few days and let the soul dangle.
